M & M Plants, primroses

Perky pots of primroses – all lined up at M&M Plants

Here comes Spring!  And all the lush beautiful flowers with it.  And I just can’t wait!

M&M Plants, of Dickerson, Maryland, returns this month to Chartreuse & co to satisfy our need for flowers.  M&M grows out their early Spring plants in greenhouses so that flower-starved people like me can have their fill early.

Hydrangeas (one of my favorite plants), primroses (which always make me think of lush, English stream-sides), herbs, bulbs, and succulents are coming our way for the March 18-20 Tag Sale

M&M Plant’s Dickerson, Maryland greenhouse is bursting with color.

Not just plants and herbs, but cut flowers, too.   They pick them fresh from their Montgomery County farm and wrap them up into a bouquet on site for you.  I always head home with a beautiful bouquet for my table when they’re here.

M&M Plants, succulents

Why bother with fakes, when real succulents are so easy to grow?

Mark & Madgie McGaughn, owners of M&M Plants, have also cultivated a stunning and diverse selection of succulents – a trend which I have begun to embrace.  There is just something fascinating to me about he combination of color and texture in these easy plants that fits in any decor.   M&M offers most in that perfect, little size for growing in a silver sugar bowl or ironstone creamer.   Just the thing to perk up your desk or countertop.

Plan to take home something fresh and living the March.
